Ireland is rich in striking visual imagery. The country's association with the arts, its modern history, ancient history and the Great Famine have left a diverse landscape full of stunning murals, architecture, sculptures and other representations which help to give the country its unique character. Inch House's location in Ireland's North West makes it an ideal base to explore many of these images. Below and in the links on the left, are a selection of photographs associated with the Troubles in Northern Ireland, the 1845 Famine and some of Ireland's greatest artisans, historic figures and legends. If you would like to see more of these photos please download any of the 5 powerpoint links on the left. For more pictures of students engaged in field activities and enjoying the local area please click here. If you have any photos which you would like to see on Inchhouse.com please email them to info@inchhouse.com
